Embracing Christ -- A Christ Culture Sermon

Verse Snippet from ERV

John 15:1-8Jesus said, “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch[a] of mine that does not produce fruit.[b] He also trims every branch that produces fruit to prepare it to produce even more. You have already been prepared to produce more fruit by the teaching I have given you. Stay joined to me and I will stay joined to you. No branch can produce fruit alone. It must stay connected to the vine. It is the same with you. You cannot produce fruit alone. You must stay joined to me.

“I am the vine, and you are the branches. If you stay joined to me, and I to you, you will produce plenty of fruit. But separated from me you won’t be able to do anything. If you don’t stay joined to me, you will be like a branch that has been thrown out and has dried up. All the dead branches like that are gathered up, thrown into the fire and burned. Stay joined together with me, and follow my teachings. If you do this, you can ask for anything you want, and it will be given to you. Show that you are my followers by producing much fruit. This will bring honor[c] to my Father.

Humble talked about staying connected to Christ who is our power source

The same way a phone and charger are powerless is the same way a Christian is powerless when he/she isn't connected to Christ so connect to Christ and you shall bear Fruit.

SERMON : EMBRACING JESUS CHRIST

To embrace is to take pride /joy in something

A good example of embracement is the LGBTQ Community, they take pride in their acts and are happy with what they do even though what they do is wrong they have embraced it.

We should embrace Christ also and not be ashamed of Him, His name or being Considered Christians.

Embrace yourselves as Children of Light.

People will look at you Embrace Christ and they will feel safer to Embrace Christ too

You will win people over to Christ

And when you win a soul over to Christ , You make the Heavens Happy

You might not see the impact you are making but it's happening !

You might preach the Gospel without saying a single word , through your everyday actions you can spread the Gospel

The way you treat others , your enemies and the things you do can be the Gospel.
