Christian Discipline

We need discipline in our lives as Christians
We have to master our minds and bodies so that we can live holy lives
Someone will piss you off and you will have to control your actions and try to submerge your rage so that you can live a holy life
This concept cuts across all the other sins like lust, theft etc be creative on this !
So as you keep on putting your mind back on the word of God, you are creating discipline
If done correctly, it should spread into other areas of your life
Fasting for example is The Deliberate act of making your body and mind listen to you and the word of God
You feel hungry but say no no, I must finish the prayers and continue to speak the words of Power and resist to acknowledge the Hunger
As you repeat this , the stronger your mind becomes and stronger you can resist temptations and the stronger your mind is to resist the evil words of the enemy
One because it is able to be controlled by you and your will has increased as you insist on fasting
And 2 because you have been learning God's word and collecting Power found inherently in his word
So how about working out , how does it help ?
Let's say you set a goal
Let's say 100 pushups
You break it down to 20 reps in 4 sets
Brother when you start , everything around and in you will tell you to stop
But as you insist and say boldly , I must finish
You are strengthening your mind
And it becomes stronger to anything in life
When insults come, it is more able to take them
When you get confused , it is able to push more because as you were doing those pushups you insisted and grew the strength In your will
And it can move to your spiritual life whereby you refuse to settle for less spiritually and are willing to go for rounds with The evil powers and basically restrain yourself like I said earlier
These things actually have will power and you have to be able to out will them to win them
